WHISPER!!

5K students use whisper phones as they quietly read aloud. As students whisper into the "phone" the sound is funneled directly into their ears, allowing them to focus on their reading voice.

District Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Zoie Murphree for winning 2nd place in the 6th grade competition at the District Spelling Bee. She will represent PDS at the State Spelling Bee. PDS school winners Annsley Tabb, 5th grade, and Schuler Weast, 4th grade, also competed on the district level.

FALL BOOK FAIR!

We had a very successful fall book fair. The students raised more money than ever before for books for the library. Parents and grandparents purchased many books to help the library and the classrooms obtain books.

We used IPADS to learn how to use the library's new online catalog. At home, students and parents can go to https://presbyteriandayschool.follettdestiny.com to access the PDS online library catalog.
