USING IPADS IN THE LIBRARY!

We used IPADS to learn how to use the library's new online catalog. At home, students and parents can go to https://presbyteriandayschool.follettdestiny.com to access the PDS online library catalog.

PDS LIBRARY ONLINE CATALOG!

PDS now has its own online library cataloging site.  You can access it by going to https://presbyteriandayschool.follettdestiny.com/common/welcome.jsp?context=saas34_2309525 and clicking on Presbyterian Day School.  The basics for searching for books are the same as they always have been in the card catalog: by subject, title, author, keyword, or series. You can just now search from anywhere and with some added features like pictures of the books and AR book levels.  Enjoy searching and becoming familiar with the site; we will be learning more as the school year progresses!

Spelling Bee!

Congratulations to PDS District Spelling Bee winners! Caleb Owens-1st place,6th grade; Caiden Craddock-2nd place, 5th grade; and Mykenzi Brown-2nd place,4th grade. They had some tough words and some competitive rounds and did a great job! They will all advance to state.

The PDS Spelling Bee will be Thursday, January 24, 2013! Students in 4th-6th grades who had the top ten spelling averages will compete.  Students who received words should be studying them!
